Sundar Prasad Dahal has over 32 years experience in worldwide logistic service and trade promotion. Besides being the Founder and Managing Director of Starlight Express, Mr. Dahal also holds the same position for DSP Export and Leisure Asia Cargo Nepal. Earlier he served as Executive Board Member (Second time elected) for Nepal Freight Forwarding Association (NEFFA), South Asia Federation of Freight Forwarders (SAFFA) and Nepal Mediators Society. He also worked as Export/Import& Excise duty Committee Member of Federation of Nepalese Chamber of Commerce & Industries (FNCCI) and as an Export Advising Committee Member of Nepal Chamber of Commerce (NCC). His work experience also includes serving as a Commercial Dispute Mediator at Supreme Court of Nepal, Mediator’s Society Since 2007.

Mr. Dahal earned his Bachelor’s Degree with major in English, Political Science and Sociology from Tri Chandra College. Mr. Sundar Prasad Dahal has attended several trainings and has been certified accordingly. His trainings and achievement include:

  • Training in IATA Dangerous Goods Regulations from GPs Institute for DGR IATA Accredited School, Delhi
  • IATA Cargo Marketing Course from Singapore in 2003
  • Business English Course from British Council, Kathmandu
  • Mediators Training Course, Training on Commercial Mediation course Supported by ARD, Inc. Rule of Law Project and USAID Organized by FNCCI, Nepal Bar Association and National Judicial Academy. (June-August 2006)
  • Training in cool supply chain managements including: Temperature control shipment handling
  • Training for Bio- Hazardous shipment handling: Nepal/India 2003 & 2007
